LoanPro Partners With Canadian Fintech KOHO to Support New Financial Products
Farmington-based LoanPro announced a partnership with Canadian financial technology company KOHO on October 14 to help support the development of new financial products for Canadian customers.
Under the agreement, LoanPro will provide technology that helps KOHO manage financial accounts, handle billing, track payments, and maintain financial records. This allows KOHO to introduce new financial products without building all the supporting technology itself.
KOHO has served more than 2.5 million Canadians since its founding in 2014. The partnership highlights how Utah-based financial technology companies are helping businesses deliver financial services beyond the United States.
Embedify ’26 Brings Financial Technology Leaders to Lehi
Embedify ’26, a financial technology conference, took place October 13 at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah. The event brought together technology companies, financial services professionals, and business leaders to discuss how businesses can offer banking, payments, lending, and other financial services directly through their apps and websites.
This approach, known as embedded finance, allows people to access financial services without switching to a separate banking platform. For example, a shopping app might offer financing at checkout, or a business software platform might allow customers to accept payments and manage their money in one place.
The conference covered payments, lending, banking, insurance, and other financial services. Discussions focused on how companies can add these services to their products, work with financial technology partners, and address potential challenges.
The event highlights Utah’s involvement in the financial technology industry. Learn more about how embedded finance works and its growing role in everyday financial services.
